Being bank holiday Monday and lovely weather it would have just been wrong to stay in today!
My boyfriend Michael is well into his fishing and wanted to go to this big fishing pond in Leeds, I thought I would just go along for the ride and to get out but it turned in to a lovely day =)
We set of at 8.00am which was just horrifying for a bank holiday, where was my lie in! But my early start was rewarded with a McDonalds breakfast nom nom. So we got to the place which as in actual fact a farm and it was beautiful very picturesk!
Michael set all his gear up and got on with some fishing whilst I did today's Daily Doodle. I even had a go and caught my own couple of little fishys there were a mix of bream, roach and skimmers in the pond =)
We finished fishing around 2 and then packed up the car and headed up to the main farm area.
We had a little look in the farm shop and had an ice cream and bought some piggy pellets! We set off on a wonder round the different pens and there were some right characters (seen below!) and I'm so glad we choose piggy pellets from all the animal food choices because the little and not so little piggys' were hilarious!
Our day was then finished off with some yummy fish and chips on the way home passing through Horsforth =) The only bad part of the day is I unknowingly caught the sun as i have the skin of a ginger and am now blogging with a very red face =/
