So here are my latest floral pins on my print & pattern pinterest board =)
I've searched and searched and I can not find the original source for this beauty! =(
I love how its so bright but yet the colours are not typical summer and are quite sophisticated, I'm already a fan of coral but this colour combination is lovely! I'm assuming its a digital print, but I love how much texture has been captured and the style is similar to a watercolour painting.
This stunning piece is by Amelia Mullins. I love how different it is. It has a beautiful, gothic look about it. The ink splatters with the vibrant magenta give it a sharp edge. Its unbelievable that it is hand painted using ink on cartridge paper. Very inspiring!
This gorgeous print is called Peony and its by Tracey Lewis. Its so cool and calm. The colours work beautifully together and again I love the amount of texture captured in the different petals. It has an abstract look about it but without the harshness often given from other abstract prints.
This is by Charlotte Duffy. When I googled her name I found her portfolio and she has some beautiful work! This piece is from the sunshine collection and is a surface design of hers. I love the hand drawn quality it has to it along with the fab, vibrant mix of colours.
This vibrant piece is by an artist names Maria Montiel. I came across an interview article about her which was a lovely little read, you can find it here! I'm very jealous of her studio! Again with this I love the hand drawn quality and the colour combinations, it works beautifully as a repeat too!
This one is by Patty Sloniger I love how bold and beautiful it is and it doesn't require one bit of colour. I love how the flowers sit beautifully together and interlock. I found a page on SpoonFlower with the design on and its been printed in quite a large scale as cushions and it works fantastic, id love one for my home! (When i eventually get one!)
This is digital art of a flower by Michele Valdez which is stunning. I'm not usually one to go for such a digital and abstract look but there's something about this which just drew my interest. I also found a blog with more work and the style of the work is beautiful. I love the warm tones contrasting against the crisp winter like colours.
Well that's my art envy over. Must say I'm feeling a little jealous but mostly inspired. Just need to set my self some time aside to get arty again. I'm hoping it wont be too long before I have my own space again to work and the creative juices can properly get there flow on =)
