Ombré nails

I've never had much luck previously doing ombré nails and I thought meh I'll give it another try.

This time it worked! I was rather chuffed with myself =)
I took plenty of photos this time so I thought if do my own little how to...

Pick three colours which will suit each other and hopefully blend nicely together.

I chose blue, pink and lilic (all from stargazer) I then used the lightest shade for my bass coat.

All you need is your average make up sponge and paint your three colours in a stripe across the sponge, 2 layers a stripe worked best for me.

Then gently press or you could slowly till the sponge on to your nail. Lightly dab a second time as close to the first press as possible to darken the colour on your nails.

It's getting a bit messy but don't worry! Now let your colours dry a bit then add your clear coat.

When my nails had dried I then used a cotton bud and nail varnish remover to wipe around my finger nails.

I can't wait to try some more colour combinations now im starting to get the hang of it!  =)
