It's been a super long weekend as mine started on Wednesday night! Me & Michael travelled to York straight after work on Wednesday to spend part of the Easter weekend in York for my birthday which was on Thursday =)
We tried to fit lots into our visit and the only thing that suffered was pub visits & nice food as Michael has been really sick all weekend! He tried hard to soldier on and not let it spoil our time away.
We explored the shambles and the market and came across some gorgeous little shops.
We even found the ideal shop for me! I brought back from this shop a scarf for me because I couldn't resist it & a mug for me & one for my mam too, as they suit us to a T! Alfie & Sassy even got a little pressi from here and they loved it!
We tried out one of yorks famous ghost walks and loved it! We were joubious at first and my feet were hurting by this point but it was well worth it & such a laugh! Our guide Dan was great, he played the part perfectly, I couldn't imagine him doing any other type of job!
We were total tourists for the weekend seeking out all the famous spots and we jumped on a big red bus to get a guided tour. We also did York dungeon which was great fun!
We drove up to Newcastle late Saturday afternoon and had a chilled rest of the weekend with my mam to finish it all off.
