Construction of a jewellery display

In preperation for my fair ive been thinking a lot about how to display my jewellery and ive had a search on pintrest for ideas.

A few options I noticed worked quite well were empty photo frames with hooks, however i dont have a wall i only have a table so i tried my own version and this is how it went...

I started by taking my frame apart. I then wrapped the back board in black paper as I thought this would give a nice contrast to the jewellery. I taped it nice and tight to get a smooth as possible finish on the front.

I then carefully hammered nails in to the back of my frame at different levels. I didn't hammer them in to far as I didn't want them to come out the other side or damage my frame! I hammered until they didn't wobble any more =)

Once I ahd all my nails in i used fishing wire to string across the frame and tied it to the nails. Then once the lines were tight I placed the back of the frame back on.

Taaadaaaah!
Then I just started filling it up with jewellery pieces.

Im really pleased with how its turned out and I think it will look so much better on my table than just a pile of jewellery. =)
