To say I follow a few craft blogs is an under statement lol. I came across a design competition for Barker & Stone House on one of these blogs (@CraftBlogUK) and I couldn't resist entering =)
I thought it would be nice to do a little creative project but also the bonus of winning would be awesome as the prize is £500 worth of vouchers ha ha.
I already had some motifs I had done previously for mothers day that I hadn't gone on to do much with. so I decided to layer them up and make this cushion design. I experimented with colour but because the flowers had so much tone and detail it looked odd so I decided to just keep it monotones. I think its turned out well, I would buy it any way! lol
